Great Gardens

Meets requirements 2,3,4 of Grow Something. Includes materials for requirement 1 and 5a

Search for the sassafras tree and find the wisteria during a visit to the historic garden at Macculloch Hall. Wolf scouts make a terrarium to take home while learning about the vegetables and fruits that George Macculloch (1775-1858) planted in the early 1800s. Pre-registration required. $10 per scout; $5 per adult.

Treasures Assembled

Meets requirements 3,4,5,6 of Collections and Hobbies

Wolf scouts view the collection of W. Parsons Todd (1877-1976), founder of Macculloch Hall Historical Museum, and learn what he collected as a teenager. Scouts examine letters signed by famous Americans and start their own autograph collections. Pre-registration required. $10 per scout; $5 per adult.
