What Do Kids Collect? Trains

This November, in recognition of National Model Railroad month, MHHM highlights some of the objects in W. Parsons Todd’s collection related to trains and the railroad. For more than 70 years, Mr. Todd took the train daily from his home in Morristown, New Jersey to his office in New York City. The Erie-Lackawanna Railroad recognized Mr. Todd as the oldest commuter on the line before his retirement. At the time, Erie-Lackawanna Railroad was the largest commuter railroad in New Jersey. This line is now now operated by Metro-North and NJ Transit.
