At Your Own Pace: A Sensory-Friendly Tour

Third Saturdays, February-May and September-December
9:30-11:30 a.m.

For families and care partners with neurodiverse children and teens – experience the historic house with plenty to touch and time for questions and explore the new garden sensory pathway through sight, sound, touch, and smell.

Free to members and with museum admission, no appointment needed. Please see our Events calendar for scheduled dates.

Summer Garden Program for Youth and Adults

Through hands-on gardening and an art-making experience with a teaching artist, participants enjoy nature while learning about life in the past.

Make it! Grow it! Learn it! garden program offers a variety of experiences:

Cultivate and care for a kitchen garden
Create art with a teaching artist
Explore history and nature in the historic 2-acre garden

All ages. Children accompanied by and adult.

FREE but pre-registration is required. Pre-register online through the website Events page. Dates are posted each Spring.

Lunch with the Librarian

Lunch with the Librarian returns Wednesdays in July and August at 12:00pm.

Pre-school children and their caregivers are encouraged to bring lunch and enjoy stories in the Museum’s beautiful garden. Please enter the garden through the side gate. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held in the MHHM’s Center Hall. In partnership with the Morristown & Morris Township Library.

This program is free and no registration is required.
