Meets requirements for Girl Scout Daisy Zinni Petal Award

Enjoy a visit to Macculloch Hall Historical Museum with your special female adult. See the garden in bloom. Create a watercolor painting of the garden, remembering Zinni’s lesson of sharing, while painting. Explore the 19th century rooms at Macculloch Hall, where generations of mothers and daughters lived and cared for one another. Special arrangement dates are available. Scout Fee: $7/Adult Fee: $5. Minimum:  12 girls & adults.

Louisa’s Rose Garden

Meets Requirements for Golden Honey Bee Award from “Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden” Girl Scout Daisy Journey 

After reading A Smiling Bee and a Garden Key (Chapter 2: “Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden” Girl Scout Daisy Journey), girls will visit the garden at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum to learn more about Louisa Macculloch (1785-1863) and her rose garden first planted in 1810. Girls will discover a treasure box of their own and be inspired to create paintings of flowers in the garden. Available late May and June. Girl Fee: $7/Adult Fee: $5. Minimum:  12 girls & adults.
