Guess & Go Story Time: Stories for National Fruit & Vegetable Month

It is time to celebrate your favorite, and even your not-so-favorite, fruits and veggies! June is National Fruit and Vegetable Month. Since New Jersey is known as the Garden State, we have a lot to celebrate. New Jersey has more than 9,000 farms on nearly 720,000 acres of land. Our farmers grow tasty blueberries, cranberries, peaches, tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, apples, squash, and asparagus — and this is just a short list. New Jersey farmers cultivate more than 100 different types of fruits and vegetables.

The countdown has officially begun for signs of  New Jersey’s “Sweet Corn” or “Jersey Corn” at the end of June and early July. Join us on Facebook Live to hear stories to get us ready for the return for sweet Jersey corn: Todd McQueen’s Bob & Rob & Corn on the Cob and Gail Gibbon’s Corn.
